Common Mode Choke (CMC) calculator
1. Click the icon
to expand the window located in the upper right corner of the page.2. Click “Inputs/Outputs” and input the variables to be provided (Frequency, Current densities (A/mm2), Maximum current (A), Minimum inductance (mH), Number of wires in parallel)
3. Provide data value for the Input Parameter. A drop list is available for Frequency and Number of wires.
4. Observe and wait all changes saved to be written.
5. Click the button “Run”
6. Click “Inputs/Outputs” or “Parameters” to see the results.
7. Check the result in the “Inputs/Outputs” tab.
8. The results and the curves are available for download as a .cvs file (MS/Excel, Notepad) in the “Parameters” tab.
